“ Such a great place to get a meal and a drink when you're in Pacifica. I went to the Humble Sea Brewing location on the Santa Cruz pier a couple months ago and was so surprised to see they had a brewery location next to my favorite beach. I had the fish and chips with come with crispy and flavorful tater tots (a lot of it too). I paired it with a cider. When you go inside you can sit at any open table and order by scanning the QR code on the table. The drinks were brought out really quickly and the food came out soon after. Speedy service! It's in a shopping center so there's lots of parking. There's plenty of outdoor seating as well. ”
“ 5/5 never been pathetic. Come every Friday. It's always good. Will be back next week. This places knows how to win. ”
“ After a morning hike in San Francisco, my family and I drove south to Pacifica to have fish & chips at Humble Sea Brewing. There was no parking spots available in the lot so we parked in the neighborhood down the street. Initially it looked like it might be packed at lunch since the outdoor seating was busy but inside had plenty of seating. It turns out that people wanted to enjoy the beautiful sunny weather which is not always a given in Pacifica. My wife and I both ordered fish & chips with tater tots. Some of the best fish & chips I've had! My kids had a hot dog and burger which was a good deal for $8. I also ordered a pale ale while my wife had the citrus IPA. Both were easy to drink and went well with the lunch. Overall a great experience. ”
“ Great beer, and surprisingly good food. The burger and winter salad are both excellent, and you can't go wrong with the tots. Love their trivia on Wednesdays too ”
“ A top spot here in Pacifica! I docked it a star because they only really serve food on the weekends. And the weekends are when this place gets busy too. During the weekdays the menu is pretty limited so you can't have food while you drink then. They do have sides you can order but can't get the entree items like the chicken sandwich or burger. The beer itself is great, I like the brews here. Honestly I'd call this more of a brewery than Half Moon Bay brewery. Service was alright, when we came their ordering system was down (the QR codes you scan on the tables to order) so everyone had to go in and order at the bar which made it hard because there wasn't really a line going, people were just flagging down the bartenders. They had a large outdoor space that has some tables on fake grass and then covered secluded tables as well that were cool. Sometimes they also have food trucks which is also nice! ”
“ It was super fun to find out there was a Humble Sea Brewing location in walking distance to where we were staying in Pacifica. A stone's throw away and we were there with baby in tow. I went to the location on Alameda Island, but couldn't partake at the time :) How exciting to be able to try their fun brews! With catchy and clever brew names, a vibrant atmosphere, friendly servers, and super yummy burger & tots, I was in vacation heaven. Major shoutout to JOY who honestly made the night. You're amazing and thank you for literally spreading your joy! Hope you caught a great bundle of crabs with the kickoff to crab season on the coast! The tots to start are the way to go, followed by the Double Kook burger. That sesame seed bun was so fresh, meat juicy and perfectly cooked, and loved the simple yet efficient toppings (lettuce, housemade pickles, shreddie lettuce..). Brew wise, the Socks & Sandals Foggy IPA and Anchor's Edge West Coast Pale Ale hit the mark, we even grabbed a 4-pack to-go in the room adjacent. With a Warriors win and TVs to watch the sweet game, couldn't ask for more. Make a note to check the happy hour deals and discounts on select drafts! This spot is in a busy shopping center, but ample parking spots. Kid friendly, dog friendly too! ”
“ Reliably good times, if you like beer! If you don't want an IPA, have a Helle. They are great here too! Subject to menu changes, so check ahead. Waitstaff amaze me with chillness. There is parking even beyond to the south, so you don't have to freak about the occasional crowdedness of the grocery store parking lot. After, a nice short walk along the shore is always nice. My dog loves it, and while it's wonderful every day reminiscent of one of the best biergartens in Jackson Hole, on a sunny day it is transcendent! ”
“ I've been wanting to try this place for awhile, so I came on a warm Thursday evening with friends. It's conveniently near Pacifica Beach, so it would definitely be more crowded on a nice sunny day. There's plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, depending on preference. We chose to sit indoors and order from the menu on a QR code. There were many draft selections, but there weren't a lot of options for their ciders and hard kombuchas. The food selection was pretty decent. I tried the Chicken Wings and Orange Creamsicle Hard Kombucha. The chicken wings were initially spicy because of the jalapeño marinate and hot mustard glaze, but the spice was cancelled out by their homemade ranch sauce provided. It was also sweet & tangy. The hard kombucha tasted like a sparkling orange juice. I tried the Strawberry Watermelon Cider from a friend, and it tasted like Sour Patch Watermelon. Both were good for drinks that aren't bitter but I wish they offered a few more options. The drinks came out a few minutes after we placed our order, but the food took awhile to come out. Hopefully the next time I come back there's a new selection of drafts to try ”
“ TL;DR: Go for the beer, stay for the tots. Cute space in the middle of strange strip mall, it is sandwiched between a Grocery Outlet and an OrangeTheory. They have both indoor and outdoor spaces, I did notice that dogs and children were mostly sitting outside. Service was through a QR code, the kitchen was pretty backed up with every table ordering at least one item but they were not too slow. Their menu was mainly beer (variations of IPAs and a few other options), with one fruited sour and a few wines on tap. I liked my fruited sour (Neon Pineapple) and even one of the IPAs I tried (I'm not big on beer in general). Definitely explains their popularity since everything was pretty good! However, I would definitely recommend the tots. We got a single order, but you can also get them with a burger or fish & tots. The fish & tots came with a mountain of these little potato nuggets so if that's your jam, it seems like a good platter to share. The seasoned salt on the tots can be left off if that's your preference, it seemed heavy on the cayenne and paprika and got a bit much for me after a while. They were super crispy, not too greasy, and a delicious accompaniment to the drinks. They seem to use fancy ketchup (it didn't really taste like Heinz), but I couldn't taste the hops in the hops aioli. I hadn't realized before arriving that Humble Sea has multiple locations (Pacifica, Santa Cruz, Alameda, etc). I can't speak for the locations other than Pacifica but would like to check the rest out if I'm ever in the area! ”
